Ultimate Volleyball has been
formed to provide junior athletes opportunities to improve their
volleyball skills, to provide the principles of teamwork, individual
responsibility and good sportsmanship through participation in competitive
volleyball activities, and generally, to support the growth and
development of amateur volleyball. Ultimate Volleyball will provide
qualified coaches to dedicated athletes who want to learn and improve
their volleyball skills in a serious, but fun competitive environment.
Ultimate Volleyball has adapted three core principles in the way we treat
our athletes, coaches, staff and support.
The
Coaching Staff of Ultimate Volleyball
is the first principle and represents the key to the success of our club.
All coaches bring the excitement, passion and desire to succeed in the
sport of volleyball. All coaches have a collegiate playing background or
have a minimum of high school coaching experience.
The Competition of Ultimate
Volleyball represents the second principle. It has been said that to be
the best you must beat the best. It is our goal to participate in quality
tournaments and allow our players to compete against equally skilled (and
possibly higher skilled) athletes. Our club will participate in USAV and
AAU tournaments and States in Grand Rapids.
The Value that Ultimate Volleyball brings to your family is the final
principle. The importance of value is the investment of time and money by
the Parents, Players and family into Ultimate Volleyball. Although value
is sometimes hard to quantify, we believe your constant feedback, club
participation in events (Golf Outing) and fund raisers (Mom’s Club) and
ultimately returning back to play or even coach for Ultimate Volleyball,
will show the quality and overall value our club offers.
